The WFTU Youth Committee calls the young workers of the world to participate in the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29.
After our Congress in Marseilles, France on November 22-23, the WFTU Youth Committee has taken upthe first task to express firm solidarity with the heroic people and struggle of Palestine.
We call the young workers and their unions all across the globe to take initiatives to support the people of Palestine and their struggle against the occupation of the murderer state of Israel; we demand for an independent Palestinian State over the borders of 1967 with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The people of Palestine have been expelled from their land for more than 70 years, or have lived there as prisoners, suffering torture, imprisonment and murder. The massacre and the genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank has already marked as the most heinous war crime of this century and still going on unabated with the active support and encouragement of the USA, the EU and their allies.
The conflicts of the imperialist powers expressed as the aggression in the Middle East are escalating even more with the invasion and bombardment over Lebanon, the destruction of infrastructure in Syria and Yemen. These developments raise the risk of an even greater expansion of the war to the still unaffected areas. And here emerges the urgent need to strengthen the struggle of the unions and class forces in all countries against the imperialist plans, wars and attacks.
We denounce the US-EU and other imperialist governments promoting the murderous state of Israel killing thousands of children, women and civilians and simultaneously causing one of the largest waves of refugees in modern history. The international class-oriented working youth will continue to struggle alongside the struggling Palestine. We will continue to fight for the strengthening of the solidarity all across the globe.
Rise and March, until the final victory, in Palestine and throughout the World.
