The Informal meeting of WFTU members and friends entitle ‘’How can we meet the challenges the after the Covid-19 period at work and in society’’ was successfully organized on June 12th, 2023.
The opening speech was delivered by the WFTU president, Mike Mzwandile Makwayiba, and the WFTU General Secretary, Pambis Kyritsis addressed the meeting presenting the introductory keynote.
Tens of Trade Unionists from all continents participated in the meeting and enriched the discussion with their remarks, observation, and proposals, focused on the necessity of even more strengthening the struggles and initiatives of the international class-oriented trade union movement. The meeting was the second of the 3 side-event scheduled by the WFTU in the framework of this year’s 111th ILC.
