The World Federation of Trade Unions representing 110 million workers from all around the world raises its voice in unwavering solidarity with the resilient construction workers affiliated to İyi-Sen, who bear the heavy load of Elif İnşaat’s unjust withholding of wages.
We address the matter of unpaid wages concerning İyi-Sen workers by Elif İnşaat in Senegal. It has come to our attention that wages have not been disbursed as per the agreed terms.
The World Federation of Trade Unions calls for the prompt resolution of this issue. Elif İnşaat is urged to fulfill its contractual obligation and remunerate the workers in accordance with the established terms.
To Elif İnşaat, we say: The workers are the backbone of every enterprise, and their rights are not negotiable. The World Federation of Trade Unions urges immediate rectification of this injustice. Pay the workers their due wages and ensure fair compensation for their tireless efforts.
