The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), which represents 105 million affiliates in 135 countries, expresses its support for the comrades of the CGT Local Union of Seclin and Oriental (North), affiliated with the WFTU, in the fight against the expulsion of their trade union premises by the City Council.
The WFTU requires the Mayor of Seclin to renounce the exclusion of the UL CGT of Seclin and the surrounding area and respect the freedom of association in the commune.
The WFTU recalls the victorious of its affiliate, the Union Départementale CGT du Tarn et Garonne, which managed to prevent the expulsion of its premises by the reactionary municipality of Montauban: this is an example to follow.
The WFTU knows that the CGT Local Union of Seclin and its environs can count on the determination of the workers of this commune, and the support of all the CGT Union CGT of the Northern Departmental Union, to support it in its fight.
