The General Secretary of the World Federation of Trade Unions, Pambis Kyritsis, realized a 3-day visit in Paris, France and had meetings with the WFTU affiliates and friends CGT FNIC, CGT COMMERCE, CGT FNAF, CGT Val de Marne and CGT ports and Docks.
The WFTU General Secretary discussed with the trade union leaders on the current developments in France and Worldwide, the WFTU goals and priorities after its 18th World Trade Union Congress, and the necessity for further strengthening of the class-oriented trade union movement and struggles.
The 3-day visit concluded with the participation and address in a picket line of CGT Energy Paris on December 1st, 2022 against deterioration of workers’ living standards due to inflation and price rise.
