A successful seminar-conference took place in Sri Lanka on July 30th, 2023 entitled: The Importance of Social Security System and World Experience with the participation of WFTU affiliates and cadres.
The Introductory speech was done by Comrade Janaka Adikari, the General Secretary of ICEU & the Presidential Council Member of WFTU. The Guest speeders were Mrs. Sriyani Ekanayaka, the Project Coordinator of Sri Lanka and Maldives of ILO & Mr. Sanjeewa Dayarathna, Economic Analyst. The WFTU-affiliated Trade Unions’ leaders and members participated in the Seminar.
