The World Federation of Trade Unions, representing 105 million workers from 133 countries of the 5 continents, unequivocally condemns the new terrorist drone attack that took place on Thursday, October 5th, 2023 on a military college during a graduation ceremony, resulting in at least 112 deaths of civilians and military personnel and tens of wounded people.
The people of Syria are severely affected by the consequences of long-lasting imperialist intervention in the country that started in 2011. The international class-oriented trade union movement, reiterates its support and solidarity with the suffering Syrian people and struggles for the right of every people to freely, democratically, and unimpededly decide for its own present and future.
