The solidarity and proletarian internationalism of the WFTU with the CGTP of Peru, its workers, and its people were, as always, present in the meetings and activities that the WFTU delegation led by its General Secretary, Pambis Kyritsis, had with representatives of the trade union bases, where the demands were reflected; as well as the commitment to face them with firmness, commitment, and greater trade union management.
Similarly, a working meeting was held with members of the WFTU Presidential Council in the region, the CGTP leadership, trade unions, and social and popular organizations that participated in the great national march in protest against the measures of the current disastrous government. A tribute to the great leader of the CGTP and its Federation of Civil Construction of Peru, Mario Huamán, could not be omitted.
