The 14th National Congress of COSATU, affiliated member of the World Federation of Trade Unions, is kicked off today, 26th September in Johannesburg South Africa. Hundreds of delegates, trade unionists from all regions and sectors, will discuss during the 4 days of works of the COSATU congress to determine their action plan for the coming period.
A high-level delegation of the WFTU composed of its President, General Secretary, and the Regional Office of English-speaking Africa is participating in this important Congress. The WFTU General Secretary will address the delegates on Wednesday, conveying the everlasting internationalist solidarity of the international class-oriented trade union movement with the heroic South African working class.
