The World Federation of Trade Unions expresses its undivided solidarity with the just struggle of the Greek working class and PAME for modern-safe-cheap mass transport and justice regarding the conscious crime of Tempi resulting in tens of causalities, on the 28th of February in the city of Larissa.
The crime of Tempi reveals once again the barbaric face of the capitalist system that sacrifices people for the sake of profit. Our colleagues in Greece have warned continuously regarding the dangers in the transport system and the imminent accident. Specifically, just three weeks ago the Greek railways’ unionists from PAME warned in a statement on the imminent danger of collision on the specific train route.
The international class-oriented trade union movement, on behalf of the 105 workers who join the ranks of the WFTU from 133 countries, extends its solidarity with the workers’ strike for the Train Crash on March 8th, 2023.
