4th Congress Of PAME Concluded With Great Success

On Sunday afternoon, November 20, concluded with great success the 4th National Congress of PAME.

In the Congress took part 1226 delegates and observers, representing 13 National
Federations, 15 Regional Labour Centers, 451 first level unions and 52 Workers’ Committees. As was stated in the introduction, “…these organizations are the force that makes PAME the trade union front, which for 17 years has established itself in the minds of the workers as the representative of the class oriented trade union movement of Greece, the All Workers Militant Front, PAME.”

The Congress opened with the introduction of the Executive Secretariat and the Greetings by

And Greetings from representatives of the Social Alliance in Greece, from the National Federation of Women, Farmers Unions, Self-employed Associations and the Students Militant Front. The floor opened for the National Delegates.

The 1st day of the Congress concluded with the International Seminar, where international delegations took the floor and transferred information from their countries, solidarity messages and presented mementos of friendship. The 2nd day of the Congress continued with speeches from National Delegates and more than 80 speakers transferred their experience, proposals and criticism. The Congress concluded with the Elections for new National Committee, Executive Secretariat and Finance Committee.
