Today, 1st of September, Pambis Kyritsis, General Secretary of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), attended the event organized by WFTU members in Cyprus in Nicosia, Cyprus, on the International Trade Union Day of Action for Peace.
In his speech, stated among others:
“Today, class-based trade unions around the world are joining together to unite their voices against imperialist wars and interventions. They demand the dismantling of NATO and all military coalitions. The respect for the independence and sovereignty of states and the right of every people to decide their own path of development. We say NO to sanctions, blockades and economic wars.”
