The administration of the Guimarães Hospital prohibited the entry of a trade union leader in the hospital facilities and the holding of a meeting of workers from the canteen, belonging to the concessionaire of the Itau, S meals service. A., scheduled for the last 14th of the current at 3 p.m., forcing workers to gather in the street raining.
The administration of the Guimarães Hospital violated Article 55 of the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic and Article 460 of the Labour Code.
By preventing or hindering the right to trade union activity, the administration of the Guimarães Hospital committed a crime provided and punishable, under the provisions of articles 405 and 407 of the Labor Code.
This is not the first time this has happened.
The union has already protested with the administration of the Guimarães Hospital and will denounce the situation with the competent authorities.
